Part Time MAT CFO

About the company

My client is an innovative multi-academy trust based in the south Kent looking now to make the key appointment of a new Chief Financial Officer on a part time basis, with the skills and experience to provide strategic management and leadership of the financial, commercial, and business operations of the Trust.

Your tasks

The chosen candidate will be able to successfully lead the finance team, bringing in-depth knowledge and actively contributing to the development of efficient finance systems and process, with a robust but pragmatic internal controls.

Requirements

You must be a fully qualified accountant with strong business acumen and excellent interpersonal skills. Proven experience in delivering a high-quality service in an Academy or MAT setting will be hugely advantageous, but applications from senior finance professionals from the charity or local authority setting are welcomed. Robust leadership traits and strong stakeholder management skills is essential.

The successful candidate will be an individual who is looking to excel in an inspiring and changing environment, with a natural interest in the education sector.
