*About the Opportunity*

We are looking for an experienced *SAP ABAP Developer with strong SAP CRM experience* to join a long-term consulting engagement with a client based in *downtown Toronto*.

The initial contract is for *3 months*, with a strong possibility of extension for a longer-term engagement.

This is a *full-time hybrid position requiring 4 days per week on-site in downtown Toronto*. This requirement is mandatory.

The client is building an *ABAP framework from the ground up* and requires a developer with significant experience working on SAP CRM development frameworks and implementation projects.

This is *not a role focused primarily on small enhancements or maintenance work*. The successful candidate must have experience with substantial CRM development and implementation initiatives.

*Key Requirements*

• *8?10+ years of SAP development/consulting experience*
• Strong *SAP ABAP development experience*
• Strong SAP CRM development experience
• *SAP CRM ABAP / Web UI development and implementation experience is mandatory*
• Strong knowledge of:
• ABAP Object-Oriented Programming (ABAP OOP)
• SAP CRM Web UI
• SAP CRM frameworks
• SAP CRM Sales
• SAP CRM Service
• Quotation Management
• Opportunity Management
• *Post Processing Framework (PPF) experience*
• Experience building or designing *ABAP frameworks from the ground up*
• Experience working on full-scale SAP CRM implementations
• Ability to work collaboratively with functional consultants and offshore resources
• *Financial Services industry experience is highly preferred*

*Responsibilities*

• Design and develop SAP ABAP solutions within SAP CRM
• Develop and enhance CRM Sales and Service functionality
• Work with *CRM Web UI and CRM frameworks*
• Develop solutions related to:
• Sales
• Service
• Quotation Management
• Opportunity Management
• Design and develop reusable ABAP frameworks
• Participate in technical design and architecture discussions
• Collaborate with functional SAP CRM consultants to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Work with offshore development resources as part of a hybrid delivery model
• Support testing, debugging, deployment and production implementation activities
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues
• Contribute to the development of the client's ABAP framework from the ground up

*What We Are Looking For*

The ideal candidate is a *senior SAP ABAP developer with deep SAP CRM experience* and a strong implementation background.

*We are specifically looking for someone who has:*

• Built or worked extensively with *SAP CRM development frameworks*
• Strong *CRM Web UI* expertise
• Strong *ABAP OOP* knowledge
• Experience with complex CRM implementations
• Experience developing substantial solutions rather than performing only small change requests
• The ability to take ownership of technical design and development

Experience in *Financial Services* is highly desirable.
