Solution Architect | Data Platform

You'll design data platforms and enterprise-scale data solutions on Azure, working across architecture, implementation and client needs. The role combines hands-on architectural work with close collaboration with implementation teams and stakeholders, from shaping the solution to supporting its delivery.

What you'll work with? Azure | Databricks | Delta Lake | Delta Live Tables | Unity Catalog | Azure Data Factory | SQL | CI/CD | AI / ML You'll work with Azure infrastructure and identity components, including VNETs and VMs, as well as Cloud Adoption Framework concepts across enterprise and data environments.

Daily tasks

• Gather requirements and translate business and technical needs into data platform architectures.
• Design enterprise-scale Data Platforms, Data Warehouses, Data Lakehouses, ETL processes and Machine Learning solutions.
• Identify where AI can add value within a data platform and help clients translate potential use cases into practical platform requirements.
• Consider how data platforms should evolve to support AI-driven solutions, taking into account data availability, access, governance and scalability.
• Define architecture across connectivity, authentication and authorization, CI/CD, data access, governance, scalability and cost management.
• Work with clients on data strategy and help shape practical approaches to adopting and modernizing cloud data platforms.
• Prepare cloud adoption roadmaps, project documentation, estimations and delivery timelines.
• Support implementation teams from concept through delivery, providing architectural guidance and helping resolve complex technical challenges.
• Stay close to evolving Data Platform and AI architecture patterns and assess how new capabilities can be applied to real project needs.

Requirements

What we're looking for? Strong practical knowledge of Azure and its data platform ecosystem. Experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale Data Platforms, Data Warehouses, Data Lakehouses or Delta Lake solutions. Hands-on experience with Databricks, including modern capabilities such as Delta Live Tables and Unity Catalog. Good understanding of Azure infrastructure, networking and identity components. Very good understanding of the Data perspective of the Cloud Adoption Framework and basic understanding of the Enterprise perspective. Experience designing architecture covering connectivity, authentication, authorization, CI/CD, data access, governance, scalability and cost management. Experience working directly with clients and different technical and business stakeholders. Very good command of English.
