Job Responsibilities Develop and implement purchasing strategies aligned with the company’s business and production requirements.

Manage the purchasing department and supervise the procurement team.

Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable local and international suppliers.

Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and contracts with suppliers.

Source and purchase raw materials, production materials, spare parts, and other required items.

Monitor market prices and identify cost-saving and cost-reduction opportunities.

Issue and review purchase orders and ensure accuracy of specifications, quantities, prices, and delivery dates.

Follow up on purchase orders to ensure timely delivery and avoid production delays.

Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, price, delivery, and service.

Maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and negotiate long-term agreements when appropriate.

Coordinate with Production, Planning, Warehouse, Finance, and Quality departments to ensure purchasing requirements are met.

Ensure purchased materials meet the required quality standards and technical specifications.

Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment according to production needs.

Manage purchasing budgets and control procurement costs.

Ensure compliance with company purchasing policies, procedures, and approval processes.

Handle local and international purchasing activities, including import requirements when applicable.

Prepare purchasing reports, supplier evaluations, cost analysis, and procurement performance reports for management.

Continuously improve procurement processes, supplier base, and purchasing efficiency.

Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for all purchasing transactions.

Resolve supplier issues related to quality, delivery, pricing, and payment terms.

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field.

Minimum 10 years of experience in Purchasing/Procurement , preferably in a manufacturing environment.

Proven experience in a Purchasing Manager or Procurement Manager position.

Strong knowledge of local and international purchasing processes.

Experience in supplier sourcing, evaluation, negotiation, and relationship management .

Strong negotiation, communication, and decision-making skills.

Good knowledge of ERP systems and procurement software.

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and purchasing reports.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Good understanding of inventory management and supply chain processes.

Experience in purchasing raw materials, production materials, spare parts, and industrial supplies .

Strong ability to control purchasing costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.

Excellent ability to manage multiple suppliers and purchasing activities simultaneously.

Good command of English , both written and spoken.

Strong leadership and team-management skills.

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Experience in the footwear or manufacturing industry is highly preferred.
