Material Control Engineer

Plan, prepare, issue, and control production schedules and material requirements.

Correlate planning and scheduling with machine capacity and labor availability.

Revise and reschedule shop orders based on production statistics and priorities.

Perform physical counts of raw materials and WIP; resolve variances effectively.

Prepare the needed nest files for sheets and profiles to start fabrication

Develop and maintain reports on on-time performance, processes, and operations.

Support Manufacturing Engineering in BOM creation and communication updates

1-3 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, and material control, preferably in a steel manufacturing environment or related industry.

Hands-on experience with inventory management, work order control, and production scheduling.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordination across departments.

Strong organizational and time management skills; detail-oriented and highly efficient.

Proficiency in CAD programs for sheet metal nesting.

Ability to effectively lead and direct employees while working collaboratively in teams.

Analytical mindset with problem-solving aptitude.

Flexibility to adapt to dynamic work environments.
