Procurement Engineer (Material Coordinator)

We are seeking an experienced Expediter Engineer to ensure the timely delivery of materials, components, and equipment required for project execution. The successful candidate will coordinate closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to monitor production progress, identify potential delays, and implement corrective actions to meet project schedules. Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and expedite supplier activities to ensure on-time delivery of materials and equipment.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments to prevent schedule delays and resolve delivery issues.
• Follow up regularly with suppliers on manufacturing progress and project milestones.
• Conduct supplier visits to assess production status, identify risks, and drive corrective actions.
• Monitor supplier performance and quality compliance to ensure products meet Danieli standards.
• Support supplier quality management activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Prepare and maintain expediting reports, delivery schedules, and progress updates.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Project Management, Engineering, and Quality teams to achieve project objectives.

Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field. Minimum 3 years of experience in expediting, procurement, material control, or project coordination from manufacturing environment. Understanding of purchasing and supply chain processes. Knowledge of supplier quality systems and engineering project management. Good command of English, both written and spoken. Strong planning, organizational, and follow-up skills.
