Overview We are looking for a Cloud Backend Developer with a passion for building scalable, high-performing backend systems using AWS. This hybrid role offers opportunities for both fresh graduates with strong logical thinking skills and experienced professionals (senior roles available for candidates with 3+ years of experience).

What will I be doing?

  1. Backend Development:​
  • Design, implement, and maintain backend systems using Python.
  • Build robust and scalable APIs (RESTful or GraphQL) to support frontend and integration needs.
  1. Performance Tuning:

-Optimize backend services for performance, scalability, and reliability.

  • Conduct profiling and debugging to enhance system efficiency.
  1. Cloud Integration:
  • Build, deploy, and manage backend services on AWS (or other cloud platforms).
  • Leverage serverless technologies and containerized solutions (Docker, Kubernetes).
  1. Database Management:

-Design and optimize relational and NoSQL databases to ensure efficient data handling.​

  1. Security and Compliance:
  • Implement secure coding practices for APIs and cloud services.​
  1. Explore Generative AI and AWS Innovations:
  • Get hands-on experience with Generative AI tools and frameworks.
  • Experiment with and implement the latest AWS native technologies for cutting-edge cloud solutions.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Python (Flask experience is not required, but familiarity with AWS Serverless stack or FastAPI is a plus).

-Logical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

  • Familiarity with tools like GitHub Copilot and Amazon CodeWhisperer is highly preferred.
  • Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
  • Strong focus on performance optimization.
  • Fresh graduates passionate about cloud and strong logical thinking in problem solving are encouraged to apply.

Preferred Skills:

  • Senior candidates (4+ years) should have expertise in microservices, performance tuning, and cloud-native architectures.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
  • Relevant AWS Certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) are a strong plus.
