General Operative
Contract Personnel are recruiting reliable and hardworking individuals to work in a globally recognised automotive manufacturer, renowned for its high standards, innovation and quality.
Own transport is essential due to site location. This is a full time role.
We are seeking candidates to work within all departments.
Duties will vary and may include:
- Inspect, prepare and rework vehicle body panels.
- Manufacture and assemble aluminium and vehicle components.
- Assemble engines, body parts and other components using hand tools.
- Receive, store, pick and deliver materials to production lines.
- Load and unload pallets/stillages safely.
- Carry out quality checks and maintain accurate stock records.
- Operate MHE such as forklifts, tow tugs and powered pallet trucks when required.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
- Follow all company, Health & Safety and Environmental procedures.
- Report shortages, incidents and any issues that may affect production.
- Work effectively as part of a team to support production targets.
- Any other duties as required.
Shift pattern:
Monday to Thursday (can include Friday overtime) 06:30 until 16:30
