Our client is an established fire protection contractor in Singapore, specialising in fire protection systems for building construction projects.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage fire protection projects from planning and coordination through to installation, testing, commissioning and handover.
- Oversee the installation of fire protection systems, including sprinkler systems, fire alarm systems, wet and dry risers, and other related systems.
- Coordinate with main contractors, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and relevant authorities to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor project progress, manpower, materials and subcontractor performance to meet project schedules.
- Review drawings, technical submissions and installation plans to ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Manage project costs, variation orders, progress claims and other commercial matters.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure installation quality and compliance with relevant codes and requirements.
- Coordinate testing, commissioning, inspections and handover documentation.
- Identify and resolve technical, site coordination and operational issues.
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety and health requirements throughout project execution.
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or a related discipline.
- Relevant experience in fire protection project management within the construction industry.
- Good knowledge of fire protection systems, including sprinklers, fire alarms, wet and dry risers.
