Group Finance Manager

Beyond EQT Real Estate Development Ltd (Cyprus) is hiring on behalf of the group it belongs to.

The group operates in real estate development and contracting, software development and business intelligence, and a private investment holding. Entities sit in four jurisdictions across Europe, the Middle East and South Asia, with a fifth being incorporated. One of the business intelligence entities builds analytics for casino games; this role owns its bookkeeping, filings and banking alongside every other entity in the group.

You report to the founder directly.

There is no working finance function. External accountants handle the filing in each country and the founder does everything else himself.

You build the function and you run it yourself. No accounting system, no processes, no obligations calendar, no reporting to inherit. You put all of it in place, then hand the routine to a junior you hire in month three.

You have been the sole finance person, the head, or the number two in an in house finance team of six or fewer. You have seen the whole function and done it with your own hands.

A small-company background. A career spent entirely inside large organisations will not translate.

Five to ten years post-degree in finance , across more than one entity and more than one tax regime.

Commercial judgement . When an invoice looks expensive, you find out what it covers before you process it.

Autonomy . You pull what you need, decide, act, and report the outcome. You do not arrive asking what to do next.

You push counterparties . A bank gone quiet, an accountant who missed a deadline, a debtor who has not paid. You make the fourth contact without being told to, and escalate to whoever can actually say yes.

Precise written English . Most of this job happens in writing across time zones. A brief that needs a clarifying call has failed.

Real AI and automation fluency . You use these daily to multiply your own output, and you check what comes back.

A qualification is welcome , not required. CIMA, ACCA and CMA rate highest. Track record outweighs all of them. Legal education is an advantage.
