Radiographer/Sonologist
Responsibilities:
Perform general radiography and diagnostic ultrasound examinations. Conduct and accurately document obstetric, gynaecological, abdominal, pelvic, small-parts, and other routine ultrasound scans. Produce high-quality diagnostic images and provide accurate preliminary observations. Ensure compliance with radiation protection, infection prevention, patient identification, and equipment safety protocols. Collaborate effectively with clinicians to support quality patient care. Maintain accurate clinical documentation and work in line with the hospital's duty roster.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent recognised qualification in Radiography. Current registration and practising licence with the Radiographers Registration Board of Nigeria. Minimum of 3 years' post-qualification clinical experience. Demonstrable competence in general radiography and diagnostic ultrasonography. Strong knowledge of radiation protection, equipment safety, and infection prevention practices. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills. Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
