Senior Node.js Engineer

This is the job We are looking for a Senior Node.js Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of scalable, reliable, and high-performance backend solutions. In this role, you will design and develop backend services and APIs using Node.js and TypeScript, contribute to architectural decisions, optimize system performance, and collaborate closely with frontend engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders. This is you 5+ years of experience in backend software development

This is a 3-month engagement with a possibility of extension, supporting a long-term enterprise transformation program.

Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript

Extensive hands-on experience with Node.js and backend frameworks such as Express.js or NestJS

Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems

Solid experience with relational and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP

Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines

Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, security, and performance optimization

Experience with automated testing and monitoring tools

Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Upper-Intermediate English communication skills or higher

This is your role Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Node.js and TypeScript

Collaborate with frontend engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver business requirements

Design and optimize database schemas, queries, and data flows

Ensure system scalability, performance, reliability, and security

Conduct code reviews and promote engineering best practices

Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical and production issues

Contribute to system architecture decisions and technical roadmaps

Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and support the growth of the engineering team

Improve development processes, CI/CD pipelines, and operational efficiency

Create and maintain technical documentation and development standards
