Software QA Engineer

🔧 What You'll Do Test. Automate. Explore. Improve.

• Analyze product requirements, user stories, technical specifications, and user flows to identify potential risks, edge cases, and testing scenarios.
• Design, create, and maintain comprehensive test cases for web, mobile, and product features.
• Execute functional, regression, exploratory, smoke, and end-to-end testing.
• Identify test scenarios that can be automated and develop, maintain, and improve automated test scripts using tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or similar frameworks.
• Build and maintain reliable automation test suites to improve regression coverage and testing efficiency.
• Execute automated tests, analyze failures, troubleshoot issues, and identify whether failures are related to the application, test script, test data, or environment.
• Perform API testing and validate application responses, data flow, and integrations.
• Identify, document, prioritize, and track bugs, then verify fixes before release.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Developers, UI/UX Designers, and other stakeholders throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Actively participate in product discussions and provide QA perspectives on user experience, functionality, edge cases, product risks, and potential improvements.
• Approach testing from a user and product perspective, understanding not only whether a feature works but also whether it solves the intended user needs and behaves as expected in different scenarios.
• Explore product features and user flows proactively to identify issues that may not be covered by predefined test cases.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), release validation, and post-release quality monitoring.
• Maintain QA documentation, test data, and automation scripts.
• Continuously improve test automation coverage, QA processes, testing efficiency, and release reliability.
• Stay curious about new QA tools, automation practices, and technologies that can improve product quality.

👀 What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Fresh graduates with relevant projects, internships, or hands-on experience in software testing and automation are welcome to apply.
• Up to 3 years of experience in Software QA, Automation QA, or Software Testing.
• Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, software testing principles, and QA processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Basic to intermediate programming/scripting skills in JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Java, or similar languages.
• Hands-on experience or strong interest in test automation.
• Comfortable learning and working with automation testing frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or similar tools.
• Able to understand product requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios.
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with Product and Engineering teams.
• Comfortable working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Able to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple testing activities.
• Curious about how products work and genuinely interested in exploring, understanding, and improving digital products.

⭐ Nice to Have

• Experience with Git/GitHub/GitLab and basic version control practices.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and running automated tests in a CI environment.
• Experience with API testing using Postman or similar tools.
• Basic SQL knowledge for validating database records.
• Experience testing Android and iOS applications.
• Experience with mobile automation tools such as Appium.
• Experience building or maintaining an automation test suite.
