Mechanical Technical Office Engineer
Prepare and review mechanical shop drawings and submittals for HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems
Develop detailed material takeoffs and quantity estimates for mechanical systems
Review technical specifications and ensure compliance with project requirements
Coordinate with site engineers to address technical queries and resolve design issues
Create and maintain as-built drawings based on site modifications
Analyze and resolve MEP clashes through coordination with other disciplines
Assist in reviewing contractor variations and technical claims
Prepare technical reports and documentation for project meetings
Support procurement processes by reviewing material submittals against specifications
Develop installation methodologies and technical procedures
Calculate load requirements for mechanical systems
Verify compliance of designs with applicable codes and standards
Support site engineers with technical information and clarifications
Collecting, survaying material and Equipment prices ,Prices Estimations and dealing with Suppliers
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
3-5 years of experience in mechanical technical office roles
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and BIM software (Revit MEP preferred)
Experience with mechanical calculation software and tools
Knowledge of international mechanical codes and standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, etc.)
Experience in hospital or healthcare facility projects (preferred)
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilitie
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in technical documentation
Good communication skills to coordinate with site teams and consultants
Ability to read and interpret complex mechanical drawings and specifications
Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel for calculations
Experience with clash detection and coordination procedures
