Senior Backend Java Developer

Design and build scalable backend services and APIs using Java and Spring Boot for a high-throughput, low-latency data platform. You will develop microservices, build event-driven systems on Kafka, integrate with PostgreSQL, MongoDB and Redis, and collaborate with Frontend, Data and AI teams to deliver end-to-end features. Services are containerized and deployed on Kubernetes.

Proven and practical hands-on backend development experience

Proficiency and proven expertise in Java and the Spring Boot ecosystem

Experience building microservices and REST APIs at scale

Working knowledge of Kafka or similar event streaming platforms

Proficiency with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and caching (Redis)

Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines

Solid understanding of design patterns, OOP and clean code principles

Experience writing clean, testable code with unit and integration tests (JUnit, Mockito)

Familiarity with Git, code reviews and agile practices
