Role: L2 Engineer - Servers & Storage

Employment type: 1 year & extendable contract (long term contract), outsourced through AIQU

Work location: Dubai or Al Ain, United Arab Emirates

Notice period: Immediate joiners to a max of 15-30 days of notice

Job summary:

The L2 Engineer – Servers & Storage is responsible for maintaining the server and storage infrastructure, ensuring high availability, optimal performance, and security of the data and services hosted by the organization. The job role involves ensuring the smooth operation of these systems while addressing more complex issues that surpass Level 1 support capabilities.

Required experience:

Proven experience (8+ years) in a technical support role, preferably in server and storage technology.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on attention to detail.

Relevant certification: MCSA, MCSD, MCSE, Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert.

Strong knowledge of VxRAIL HCI (hyperconverged infrastructure) from DELL and Huawei storage.

DELL PowerProtect DataManager.

Operating systems: Microsoft Windows, Linux (CentOS, Rocky, SUSE, etc.).

Others: LDAP, TCP/IP, NFS, SAN and Direct Attached Storage, High Performance Networking.

Microsoft software products: LDAP, Active Directory, IIS, DFS, TCP/IP, NFS, SAN and Direct Attached Storage, High Performance Networking.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
