ASIS – Advanced Solutions for Information Systems is looking for a Power BI Developer / BI Specialist to join our team in Cairo.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop interactive dashboards and management reports using Microsoft Power BI.
Connect Power BI to SQL Server databases and other data sources.
Develop data models, relationships, KPIs, and calculated measures.
Write and optimize DAX calculations.
Use Power Query (M) for data extraction, transformation, and cleansing.
Write and optimize SQL queries, views, and stored procedures required for reporting.
Build executive and operational dashboards for HR, Attendance, Payroll, Finance, Projects, Support and other business areas.
Configure scheduled refresh, Power BI Service, workspaces, gateways and access permissions.
Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) where required.
Troubleshoot data, performance, refresh and reporting issues.
Work with business and technical teams to understand reporting requirements and convert them into meaningful dashboards.
Validate report accuracy against source systems before publishing.
Prepare technical documentation for dashboards, datasets and data sources.

Required Skills

Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI.
Strong SQL Server / T-SQL knowledge.
Strong knowledge of DAX and Power Query.
Good understanding of data modeling and relational databases.
Experience with Power BI Service, Gateway, scheduled refresh and security.
Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into KPIs and dashboards.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and communicate with different departments.
